Overall I love living at Mera. The team that was here at move in was exceptional. I understand things change and it can be difficult for new staff to get up to speed. I moved here because it is a non smoking community. Unfortunately, I have been exposed to smoking throughout much of my stay here, and it affects my health. I do feel the staff is concerned & helpful; it is just unfortunate because we usually can’t tell where the smoking is coming from. I appreciate and utilize the fitness room. I truly love my apartment and very much want to continue living here if affordable. I do not usually participate in activities here , by choice, not because of the offerings. I work and see friends & family outside of the community.

My only issue with my unit is that I didn't want carpeting and the model i was shown didn't have carpeting but when I relocated and occupied my unit it had carpeting. I was informed that for $75 added to my rent it would be removed which isn't an option for me .

I've written of my experience living at Mera before, but yesterday, as I was in the lovely, warm pool speaking with my neighbor, who has been here since the opening, I knew I should do an update. First off, the pool is now being well taken care of and as the weather gets cooler, the pool is and will get even warmer. Yes, a lot of us old folks swim year-round. Our new Manager, Micheline is doing a great job. She always has time for me and a big smile. Rosalinda and Aaron, well, they continue to always be there for me and make me feel very special. As for Rusty, our Mtc Chief, well, I don't even push SEND on a Mtc Request and he's at my door ready to 'get 'er done'. It's quite amazing. And, Lorena, well, she keeps this place sparkling clean. As I've said before, not only me, but my friends here at Mera, all feel like our Leasing Office Team is Family. This truly is My Forever Home.
